Power for all

As part of the Central government’s Power for All programme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed a $380 million loan agreement. World Bank and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank have agreed to lend $240 million and $140 million respectively. 24x7 power supply, operational efficiency of transmission and distribution network, deployment of smart grids and electricity to rural areas are expected benefits.
