It was a lucid presentation at the Roadshow on Vendor Development & Investors Summit, Karnataka.  Minister of Industry, R V Deshpande, was oozing friendliness. In a 30 minute presentation in fluent English, he highlighted the investor-friendly climate of his government.  Deshpande referred to the generous endowments of his state, notably the vast reservoir of skilled manpower and a government willing to assist industries. He made particular reference to around Rs 160,000 crore of investment, promised in the earlier summit, maturing and taking off the ground.

The investor meet is scheduled for 23 & 24 November at Bengaluru with focus on vendor development for the MSME sector.
